Certificate in Capital Markets
First you need to get registered for Certificate in Capital Markets known as (CCM). This is a 25 Week Course. CCM is the only pre-requisite to obtain the RIA ( Registered Investment Adviser of Sri Lanka ) “license” accepted by the industry. The Certification course consists of three Series i.e. Equity Securities Series, Debt Securities Series and Securities Regulations and Ethics Series.
The qualification is aimed at school leavers, graduates and professionals working in the securities market industry to initially obtain the Certificate in Capital Markets and to proceed up to Diploma level. Candidates who are employed in the securities market industry will also be able to obtain the RIA license.
